Holiday Gift Idea and Giveaway #3: Appaloosa Designs
Our third gift idea and giveaway for the 2011 holiday season is Appaloosa Designs!
Appaloosa Designs has been up and running since 2010. It began as a hobby, something to do to keep busy during a hard time. It has since blossomed into an artistic expression and an Etsy shop.
She makes lovely necklaces and also offers photography, paintings, and drawings. All her art is inspired by nature, and has a very homey, rustic feel, while still keeping a crisp and refreshing feel.
Her hobbies are outdoor photography, horseback riding, and aquarium-keeping--all inspirations for her art.
Want to win a brass necklace or an 8x10 print from Appaloosa Designs? Enter below using the Rafflecopter form!

The best Christmas present I've ever gotten was a homemade dollhouse. At the time, my father was living 3 hours away while he was finishing his degree. He spent hours building this dollhouse in his tiny apartment. It was a present that represented dedication and love. I plan on passing it down to my kids one day.
ReplyDeleteI love the little bird's nest necklaces--I think I looked at something similar for my wedding last year but wound up not wearing a necklace. We had a lot of little bird/nature elements.
ReplyDeleteI really love that you support local artists and companies
ReplyDeleteI love the birds nest necklaces and keep going back and forth on getting one. Lovely design they have.
ReplyDeleteThe best Christmas present I ever got were Northface winter boots from my cousin. After moving to Boston, where it snows and rains about twice as much as it does at home, I really learned to appreciate them!
ReplyDeleteThe best Christmas gift I have ever received was a kitchen table!
ReplyDeleteA mother/child pendant with my babys birthstone...from my mom.

My best Christmas Present....
ReplyDeleteI think it is definitely my first car! Well, I actually bought half of the car, but my dad helped me buy the other half. I wasn't sure if I would be able to get the car, but with my dad's help on Christmas, I was able to get it!
(And I still have it!!!)
